so yeah. today, after i had closed the shop up, i was fiddling around in the back with a loaner trombone we have on a shelf in the workshop. As it turns out, i can still do just about everything i could in HS with it. i'm kinda surprised, seeing as it's been around 3 years since i have touched a brass instrument to play it, let alone a trombone. this has re-enforced my desire to go get myself a new 'bone and start up some lessons again.

so yeah.

also, i should probably get around to doing the rest of that mega man 2 LP, and also film a bunch of new reviews, as i have a lot of cool toys here on my desk that need to be shown off!

so the job has been going well (all two days i've had so far). I'm working at the Music Workshop in strongsville, which is owned by my church chior director and her husband. it's a pretty sweet deal, one day i'm in the back with greg, learning how to fix instruments and shit, and the other (the crappier day) i'm out in the front, dealing with customers (which is admittedly easy at this time of year, since all the kids that rent instruments are all out of school, and have no need for them).

so yeah, mondays and thursdays. essentially being an apprentice is interesting, really.
